NaLu Matcha
I was given the task of rebranding Uji Cafe as NaLu Matcha (based on the names of my client's two cats, Natsu and Lucy).
She wanted to keep the original aesthetic of Uji Cafe (warm, clean, grounded, quiet) while infusing whimsy. So I went with a fantasy concept, turning her cats into woodland creatures, maintaining a tea cafe. In the end, I chose a script font to embody a handwritten feel similar to how my client handmakes all the syrups and drinks herself.
